Penang is a small former agriculture workers cottage set in the New Forest. Built in the late 1960s it remained in the same format until its present owners purchased it in late 2015.
A three month project between April and July 2017 the build covered all aspects including ground works, brickwork, roofing, electrics and underfloor heating, together with an upgrade to the existing central heating.
Completed ahead of schedule, the project transformed the owners house into a modern stylish bungalow which links the open plan living area with the countryside and garden.
As the owners were in residence throughout the build, the management of work needed to be sympathetic to their daily lives.
